2005 CBR 125 for sale
 

Here is link to my 2005 CBR 125 which I am selling for £900 ONO. Any questions then don't hesitate to ask and viewings are welcome. selling as it's a non starter, though it has been ridden to london and back and then for 2 weeks after that. we have checked the carb and air filter and taken it apart but we are not mechanics so not sure what's wrong, battery is fully charged and the bike is clearly trying to start she just can't quite get there. should be an easy fix with the right know how. she was a great little bike for me and my first bike too so really don't want to see her go but i don't have the money to fix her. we also just replaced the spark plug for a new iridium one.

i know its expensive for a non runner, but like i said, after checking air filter, carb and spark plug there can't be much left that's wrong with it. we're thinking maybe a blocked jet but don't have the know how to to check plus we don't want to make anything worse. everything else on the bike is sound. tyres have done about 400 miles from new. brand new high quality oil, new spark plug, air filter. it's frustrating for me to see a bike that was fine suddenly not work and knock a tonne of money off of what i would have liked to sell it for :S

It might be worth getting your mechanic back and fixing the simple fault, then sitting on it until the spring (you have a long tax and mot), then you'll get what you want for it

don't get me wrong, i would like to but at this point i can't afford to put more money into this bike. by selling her i can get enough money to go to Fowlers and get a newish bike.
