chav or musician

i expect chavs and uneducated to not to be able to pronounce words correctly but from a professional musician it's just not cricket.

I know Jeff Wayne was able to include more stuff on cd because he was previously restricted by the time he could record on vinyl, where his record company only funded it on a double LP when it was originally released, but the original was pretty damn perfect imho.

i agree. but the new one is nicely different and a breathe of fresh air if you like. TBH i'm a bit disappointed in the recording quality of the new one and to me they have went a bit ott as i can hear distortion.

True, but maybe he should have picked a new topic?

I listened to him being interviewed on R2 and its a pity he didn't think of the idea after CD had been invented, as it would have been nigh on perfect I guess

Cest la vie

I have only heard the single from the new one, but its stimulated my interest in buying the original on CD, as I never had a copy of the original.

Re: chav or musician

I use the word "Drawring"

For example, The butler did it in the Drawring room, with the candle stick"

Can't see a problem with it. It's a very slight deviation in the shape of the tongue as it's drawn back for the "Ing" sound that holds back slightly more breath (good for singing) than going straight there.

I know about tongue semantics, I speak Madarin and had to buy a book on it! :-)

I had the original on my computer then lost it so borrowed it again from me mum a couple of days ago...to find the CDs are both scratched to buggery, so deep you can see through the CD #sigh# gutted, not sure about getting the new one, I loved the old one so might try to find it on Amazon. I have heard the new single but not as good.
