Sorry to derail this a bit, are these just about the best suzuki shock you can fit to the SV or something? I bought a K7 gsxr 750 shock and wondering if this poops on it or something!?

all depends on your weight

If your over 14 stone a zx10 shock would suit, if your under, a gixxer shock is usually better as it's softer.

and it fits without messing around with the battery box due to the resevoir location, but actual performance should be the determining factor, so yeah what they said!

What makes you say that? GSXR shock spring rates vary widely depending on year/bike etc.
I'm 12 stone and have an 06 zx10r shock fitted. Rider sag is set nicely and comp and rebound are in the right ball park too. Spring rate is #465 or 8.3 kg/mm and racetech calculator recommends around 8 kg/mm for my weight so i'd say if you're over 14 stone an 06/07 zx10r shock would likely be undersprung compared to some more suitable gsxr shocks.

See this to compare shock data and visit racetech to use their spring rate calculator to get an idea of what's suited to your weight.

BTW, are you selling this shock or did you just spot it on ebay and post a link?
