Parts not arrived from fellow orger

Hi folks,
After some advice and reassurance. I replied to an ad for an ecu off a fellow orger on here, anyway to cut a long story short the item hasn't arrived yet I've paid via PayPal and now haven't heard from him for a resolve.

Any ideas what I can do as feel cheated and its not in the spirit if the org.

Cheers chaps

How long have you been waiting?
Have you tried contacting them directly?
If all else fails, name and shame.

Cheers matey, I've been waiting for about 3 weeks. When I contacted him he said that his secretary hasn't posted it and then he'd done it himself but.....still hasn't arrived. I've asked him for a resolve but has ignored my email....so far I've been polite but think you're right in naming and shaming to warn other others at least (moderators is there any problem with this?).

Shamefully you're not the first person this has happened to.
You need to make the mods aware of it any they can offer a resolve to the forum member in question.
Have you checked to see if the member in question has logged in/recived your notifications.

It's funny as if I have any sv bits from projects I always pop them on here first to avoid evilbay and give fellow orgers the best price as thought it would be a good thing to do.

How do I check he's read it? Cheers for all the advice so far.

I dont really know if you can check if its been read but you can see when they last came on the forum by looking on their user CP.

Can you PM the forum user name of the person you've purchased from. We've had an issue with particular member and his account is suspended until he resolves all the problems.

If you've paid via paypal, my advice would be to lodge a paypal dispute and try and get a refund that way. Theres not much I can do to help you as much as I feel your pain...

Is this the same person as before? And before that?If it is then there is a pattern of taking money and not sending out the goods and that could be fraud.Worth thinking about if this carries on.
