Mallory Park anti closure petition

As you may be aware there is a "MOVE" by some newcomer's to the area of Mallory Park, seeking it's closure.
As it is one of our local and much respected circuits perhaps you would give consideration to signing the following petition. Of course directing other like enthusiats would be appreciated.

A great little circuit for ALL motor sport enthusiasts and one that very many have ridden as their first race circuit or trackday.

done, its time the councils and courts told these people to f**k off if the circuit was there when they moved next to it.

I've been following it on Facebook and it's a lot more complicated than it appears.

Worth befriending No Limits and Mallory Park and having a read through.

Basically, from what I can understand, could be wrong though, probably am, is.....

The council limited the amount of "noisy" days that could take place at Mallory in 1985, this was never enforced and Mallory ran as many "noisy" days as it liked.

A few residents complained and the council got involved.

Mallory Park are saying that the restriction will prevent them from making a profit and if they can't run more "noisy" days they will be better off selling the land for housing.

Only a small minority in the village are complaining, the vast majority are in favour of the track.

Up until last year I have never seen noise testing at the track so some of the blame has to be placed on the track owners themselves, the restrictions imposed on them were being flouted for 25 years, but only a complete moron (or someone trying to increase the value of their house) would buy a house near a race track and moan about the noise.
