Speedo reading random numbers
Bike: Suzuki SV650s '03
This doesn't happen everytime I go for a ride, about 70% of the time. The speedo just reads random numbers, apparently I hit 126mph whilst wheeling it out of my driveway? It continues to read random numbers for the duration of a ride and doesn't improve. Does anyone know what the cause is and how to solve the problem? -Tim |
Re: Speedo reading random numbers
You need to test the speedo drive, and take the front wheel off and check the rotor

Re: Speedo reading random numbers
Or just stop pushing your bike at 126 mph.

Re: Speedo reading random numbers
I had a Triumph TT600 that used to do this , upon checking the circular magnet in the speedo was cracked and goosed .

Remove front wheel and check the speedo rotor. This is possibly broken/damaged |
Re: Speedo reading random numbers
