No respect some people

http://forums.sv650.org/picture.php?...pictureid=6932

Some halfwit managed to knock over my bike - and obviously then just drove off - I found it like this 10 minutes ago. Seriously considering getting some sort of CCTV set up after this. I mean, really... no note, nothing. Fortunately there was very little damage, just scratches and a bent rear brake lever. Another good reason to fit crash bungs!

Another good reason not to go to London.

ps Fortunately it didn't go over onto the Golf next to it! Small mercies and all that...

Maybe a daft question but you have a cover on and it's been really breezy in London today. Could it have blown over?

I'd considered that; I do carefully tie the cover down onto the bike and it's never happened before - and it's been super breezy recently! But I concede that could have happened. However I'd not been stopped there long and there was a big black merc parked in the relevant spot very shortly before I found it like that... circumstantial, of course.

By the way LPH your avatar is wonderfully terrifying. I love it :)

Aye. Hope it made a massive hole in it!

I've had another look and there is loads of rash where they reversed into it, particularly around the left crash bung. %^&(£$%s

Oh well!

Dude, that is so unlucky and lucky as you mentioned. As soon as I hit London with the bike, I always regret it. There's just something about the lack of consideration which is unique to this city. Everyone just rushing to do their own thing. But it could have been much worse. Also, a great example for anyone who doesn't have bungs on the bike because they "don't like the look". I'm sure this has definitely saved you a good few £££'s.

That's crap - and you're right, no manners or consideration.

You're also utterly, utterly correct that nothing unfortunate ever happens outside London ever ever ever ever ever ever ever, not never nohow, uh uh, not once.

Aye, those crash bungs have been an excellent investment! Paid for themselves about 3 times over by now I reckon :)

Cheap webcam attached to old laptop, pointed out the window - sorted :)
