Brighton welcome here?

Hi all;

I'm based in Brighton at the moment and I'm not really sure which of the ORG's "regions" to associate with! South Coast lot are too far West, SELKENT are too far North East and Guildford is probably too far North West, so I'm lost!

Still, thought there might be a few on here who aren't too far away, so thought I'd say Hi. And ask if, per chance, anyone was up for a jaunt somewhere near here over this weekend, as the weather's meant to be ok? Finally finished this uni lark so wanted to get out and about more!

We'll take any stragglers! :) although a days riding for us may typically involve a trip to Brighton and then home. Typical start point is Loomies near Petersfield. If you're happy to head there that's cool. If not just pop by and say hi next time we take a trip to Brighton.

I'm normally to be found in the Southeast somewhere, between Rye and Portsmouth, don't worry too much about groups, I've been around here for nearly 12 years and you won't find me on any of the group lists, I treat them all as my own....:D.

If you fancy a ride, just post it up, I'm sure others will let you know if they are interested.

Cheers Mark.

We're very welcoming....at first!

Seriously though, we ride to Brighton or other coastal destinations a lot so you could either ride up to meet us and then back with us or meet us there and potentially ride back.

Best ride would be the one down there usually.

Would that be at my alma mater Brighton Polytechnic (as it was called when I was there)?

As above, just turn up to things if you feel like it.

Was that in C o ckcroft* or Watts? I did business studies so was in Mithras across the road.

Happy memories. Brighton was a nice place to be a student, if a bit expensive.

Both C*ckcroft and Watts, had a few modules in Mithras as well. Yeah it is nice, definitely expensive though, and the roads are terrible!

Excuse me GM. Can you please give us back our defector? Its hard enough getting new recruits as it is!

What do you mean too far? Wales is only a couple hundred Miles away. Easily doable if you have a day spare. And because you'll have to cross a border, it will feel like a Holiday :D
