A lot of people like the K&N oil filter as it has a nut on the end to take it on and off, so is a bit easier.

Hiflo are fine, if you get K+N don't overtighten.

I always get K&N purely because my filter is a bitch to get a filter wrench round and the nut on the end is a god send come removal time.

I've used K&N before, preferred it due to the nut. Performance was like ... an oil filter!

Removal is simple

You will need the following:
  • Old or cheap screwdriver
  • A hammer
How to:
  1. Hold screwdriver with the pointy end onto side of oil filter
  2. Apply hammer to top of screwdriver handle
  3. Use handle of screwdriver as lever to unscrew filter
  4. Job is Jobbed. Sit back and open a beer. (fitting a new filter is always advised at this stage also. Do not use screwdriver method to fit...:drink:)
