Curvy seat cowl poor fit.
Hi
Just bought a matching seat cowl for my 2001 SV650 but when fitted and locked on. It's secure but rattles and can be moved by hand a little at the top near the tail light. Am I missing some rubber washers or something? |
Re: Curvy seat cowl poor fit.
Have you got a picture of the underneath of the cowl? Can see if there's any rubbers missing off it then

Re: Curvy seat cowl poor fit.
Will try and get a picture later! Been reading about these 'in fills' ? Is that what I'm missing?
The seat cowl is still reasonably secure but not how I imagined. |
Re: Curvy seat cowl poor fit.
In fills won't help, they're just decorative
Pictures of your cowl will help |

I think there should be a rubber bung in each of those holes towards the rear of the cowl. If you've got the pillion seat you can swap them over.

Re: Curvy seat cowl poor fit.
Anyone got any hanging about I can buy?

Re: Curvy seat cowl poor fit.
They should just pull out, I just checked my seat cowl and it didn't have the bungs so I pulled them out of my pillion seat and pushed them into the cowl
