Weirdo spark plug discolouration.

Changed the 4 plugs on the SV today for the 7,500(ish) service and pulled this one out the rear cylinder.

I wound the washers down the threads a bit so you guys could see in there better.

The washers were stuck a couple of threads off being properly seated with a caramel coloured varnish above the washers. Weird. Not been out on it yet, will report back later this evening.

Re: Weirdo spark plug

looks like its had a small leak when put in but sealed itself. so wouldn't worry about it as the rest of the plug look good.

Clean it up or buy a new one. Have another look after a couple hundred miles.

They're a "replace" on the 7.5k service, matey.

Drop of oil in the plug recess? Smear of grease from when it was fitted?
Doesn't look like a combustion leak exactly.
