Snetterton fun!
Hi all
I just thought i post up about my latest trackday and first on the SV650 that i completed on Saturday I used to be into trackdays used to have a well spec'd zx6r track bike had i had to sell to help with a house deposit! Anyway id not be on a track for 18months and booked the inters group as id be a bit rusty! and my standard bike ( yes standard suspension/brakes with a racetec front tyre and maxxis touring rear tyre) would be out of its depth it the fast group on a track like Snet All i can yes its the most fun ive ever had on a trackday, tussling with my mates on GSXR750 track bikes on slicks and 50 bhp down on them! and i cant wait to do it again, what you loose on the straights you gain in the corners The bike ran faultless apart from a warped disc that i already knew about.. but for a £1500 bike i bought as a commuter i love it. I bet a properly set up minitwin is great fun to ride! No real point to this post but i thought id share what a good day i had:D |
Re: Snetterton fun!
i was going to go but the weather forecast looked shocking, how was the weather in the end? i get the feeling it was relatively clear. They said on the report it was going to be hacking it down until lunch time so i gave it a miss.

Re: Snetterton fun!
It was wet the first 2 sessions, the 3rd session was 50/50 then dry the rest of the day. I only live 15 mintus away so booked last minute.
Was a good day but lots of reg flags in the other groups |
