S-N pointy conversion about finished (video + picture)
After several nightmares my Sk7 naked conversion is ridable...
still need to bleed the brakes more... had no air bubbles coming out , but still not as good as they used to be. Still need to tidy up a few bits of wiring , particularly heated grips and odd bit of blue 'leccy tape. the thread on my riser clamps might be a bit dodgy (probably need re-tapped soon) But the bike is ridable for the first time in months.. http://www.use.com/images/s_2/0b4e0c...63a9b9df_1.jpg Here is a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=qHYg1p1zTUM you can see in the video that i added 5mm superbright green LED's (£1 off ebay , pre wired) into the L + R walls of the dash housing so i could keep 6 idiot lights. |

oh well, after a long bus journey home , turns out its not all that finished ....
3 of the four handlebar mounting bolts are stripped(female side) I found this out when i went over a speedbump and my bars rotated forwards 90degrees... could have been much worse, and i'm blessed to be so lucky. waiting to have the bike collected and the threads re-tapped... |

If the bar's rotated 90 degrees forward, it's ALMOST at the point where the levers will be a helluva lot more usable when you adjust them right to match.

please for the love of god tell me you haven't drilled and tapped the standard top yoke and put risers on.
