DB limits and regulations?
OH MIGHTY ORGGG
I got my bike exhaust tested at the track and the noise came through at a wooping 107.5 DB. this is at 7k revs. and with the baffles IN!!!!. The exhaust was bought last year from a firm that says all exhausts are road legal. so the question is...... what is the noise regulations for the road for bike exhausts? and is it possible to get the DB lower? bike is a cbr600rr 2006. I no longer plan to use for track use as i find the standard is fine. But for the road i like to be heard and the exhaust does look cool. |
Re: DB limits and regulations
Maybe the can needs repacking?

Probably needs repacked. 107dB is not bad tbh

What does it say on your logbook----newer ones had db and emissions stated

Re: DB limits and regulations?
I would say check packing. My record was an old round slip-on on an SV with standard headers hitting 118dB with the baffle in. Thankfully had a different can to get through noise testing :D
