Re: Spot of market research
Like the majority of people i'm mega busy with work and a host of other rubbish BUT that means that i like to make the most of any time off that i get. Personally if the prize was 2 nights or more stay at a B&B near good biking roads then i would travel almost anywhere in the uk and make a long trip out of it but ONLY if i could select the dates. If the prize was on a fixed date it would be difficult to arrange work around and i might only be able to do it if it was very local (150 miles maximum).
Hope that helps |
Re: Spot of market research
It sure does dude, thanks.
Nearly all of the prizes we put out are on an open voucher deal, i.e. you arrange the dates with the venue to suit you both (*subject to availability and all that). So in theory, you wouldn't be too worried about bagging something in say, Wales or Scotland? |
Re: Spot of market research
Yes, personally I would travel to Scotland. It's not really all that far. And Wales is only up the road

Re: Spot of market research
I'm going to the London show and I'm coming from Bristol.
Anywhere south of Birmingham would be acceptable distance imo. |

I would travel around 200 miles. That can get you a decent distance away to make it worth it, and doesn't take very long.

Re: Spot of market research
For a single night away, 150 miles is an ok distance. For 2 nights I'd go to 250 mile distance.

Re: Spot of market research
I would only travel about 150 miles on a sunny day to a Hotel where the beer is cheap and there is a nice spa.
That's not a pi$$ take either. |
Re: Spot of market research
150 miles Laurie, you would need the cage and the trailer set up for that one mate
