Phuket food
 

Phuket in Thailand is an interesting place for the biker, when the local drivers are not trying to kill us, the local restaurant owner gave us a couple of free drinks and all because we ride big bikes!

A place where we have just eaten told us today that they welcome bikers because and I quote.

So if you are ever passing through Phuket and want some really great food and meet some wonderfully friendly people, come and check out the Smokin' Fish, the food we have just scoffed down was divine and were it not for the fact that we were full, we could have just kept ordering from the menu. Seriously, the food is sublime and well worth checking out.

Also worthy of note is the hotel above the restaurant, called Mbed, it is plush, inviting and they have a kitten. So come on world travellers, come and show these people some love. :smt050

Would love to see Phuket again. I haven't been back since I was at patong beach on Boxing Day 2004... I'm sure it's changed drastically ten years on from the tsunami.

Glad you're having a good time Jayne :) I found the people there some of the friendliest I've ever met and the food is delicious!
