Flush mount indicators - Pointy.
Hi all,
I am wondering whether or not to install those flush mount on a grey 03 s. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flush-Moun...item3cbf9521ae Firstly do I need any led relay has talk about on other thread or any other parts? But more importantly, they will look much better - however I am afraid that they won't be visible to other road users? Looking for your personal opinions, thanks :smt108 |
Re: Flush mount questions,
You will need a relay or resistors (relay is a lot easier) I am personally not a huge fan of flush mount indicators, as I like to be seen, not give them a reason to pull in front of me. Tarmac hurts

Re: Flush mount questions,
Well at the end of the day, my dad has been riding since the age of 15 - now 62.
Had 15 crashes, never his fault - always a road users coming across his bit of tarmac. Result, countless days in hospital - a knee replaced, several bikes written off, etc. And yes, I also got on a bike after that!! |
Flush mount questions,
Get the flush mounts and combine them with some GSXR mirrors with built in turn signals. Job jobbed :)

Re: Flush mount indicators - Pointy.
I have flush mount LED indicators on my bike and frankly they are dangerous. They cannot be seen in any direction other than from the side. To combat this, I also fitted a set of forward facing indicators in the air scoops of my fairing. So my bike now has six indicator lights, but I can at least be seen! Does not stop silly tarts in Honda CRV cars from turning into me though! ;-)
