todays random thought ,
 
everything in life is achievable, when you put your mind to it


including removing a cast when your not supposed to with just a Philips head screwdriver and a child's set of blunt scissors


todays bonus thought


how much will finding out todays random thought cost me when I get home to the O.C

I remove all my stitches myself.
Occasionally too soon.
They get really ****y when they have to sew you up the second time.

Man up you bunch of pansies, anyone can remove a cast and take out a few stitches. Try ripping the titanium plate and screws out of the bone 2 weeks after surgery and then going out for dinner with your Org mates. (Then call your surgeon on the way home on his mobile a bit tiddly and tell him you might have had a little bit of a mishap...)

My Dad was always an expert at removing stitches, not that he has had much practice since my accident prone brother left home 25 years ago.
