Essential servicing? K2 SV650S

I bought my bike in May last year. 18k on clock with no service history. Previous owner managed to retrieve past MOT test records. Plastic clutch cover was a little leaky despite changing the o ring so I swapped the cover for a K3 single metal cover. Front brakes were a little sticky but a deep clean and fluid change sorted them out. Bike runs sweet engine wise and now minor niggles are fixed its all good.

I am just looking for tips or advice as to what is essential for the bike at its age? I am quite confident about routine servicing (oil, filter and plugs etc) and minor mechanical jobs as they pop up and do routine servicing annually. For example I know the valve clearance hasnt been done so should I get it done etc

If you can do the routine service stuff you can easily check the valve clearances.They are usually within spec,so no further action required.If they do need work that is more difficult.
