Re: Cartidge emulators.
On the NC owners website someone has fitted Debrix emulators to his NC700 with good effect, and a link to hogparts.co.uk was added if you want to get them direct from a UK source. Price is not unreasonable for the convenience.

Re: Cartidge emulators.
the emulator is for compression only and controls the dive on the standard forks better but also allowing for bumps due to a popper valve.
on a pointy you have to strip the forks down then have a bush made to fit the top of your damper rods, the damper rod rebound hole has to be welded up and the compression holes at the bottom have to be drilled out to open them up a bit. you also need to cut down the top spacer for the preload 15mm. after all that you have to set them up by messing with oil wt for the rebound and set popper tension on the actual emulators to allow for bumps but still stay closed under braking. it all sounds complicated but in reality its easy. |
Re: Cartidge emulators.
Thanks for the Hogparts link. My emulators were delivered yesterday.
