pipe and slippers

it's official i'm getting old, third time out with an addition to the bike and i like it.

how much easier can it be? none. it's great being able to just throw things in a box and ride and no more having to carry a lid around.

nope thats an aero modification. I find you can ride further and longer with space for condiments such as cake :)

Its when you stick muffs on the bars that defines whether you're old or not ;)

I use a 52ltr myself

Never apologise for a practical modification :)

Is that box bolted straight onto the pillion seat?

I could not be without my topbox now. Somewhere to leave your clobber when off the bike, carry your sarnies/cake depending on preference, spare shreddies for that simple weekend away, basket full of shopping if you don't feel like taking the car to Tesco*, etc.

sort of. i removed the foam and drilled 4 holes then bolted it with the supplied bars to the pillion pan.

i think my box is a 45ltr and everything fits just nice. yes it looks stupid but i'm past the point of caring what things look like :smt040

Cheers. I don't have a pillion seat at all on my bike, only a cowl. I keep thinking of getting a second hand seat and butchering it to make take a rack, or a box or pack or something. I did wonder whether the standard seat latch would be strong enough for luggage.

rough roads, silly speeds and no problems so far. i have used the box before so its not the first time i have used it but now that it's going to be a permanent fixture only time will tell if it lasts. it's one of the cheep ones on the bay.

They are very handy. But I get annoyed kicking it every time I get off. Totally kills the sexiness of the bike too
