Hello all, I'm looking for a clock for my 2003 sv650s. The ink is has faded out and i can barely make out anything on it. Thanks

is this for a mk1 or a mk2 sv650?

Forgive my ignorance but I don't know the difference. How do I confirm which of them exactly it is? Thanks.

first get is commonly called a curvy as it looks curvy, the curvy as two separate analogue clocks

second gen is commonly called a pointy as it looks pointy, the pointy has an analogue rev counter with a digital speedo readout combined in the one unit.

Mine is a second gen 2003 pointy. The 2003 was the first of the second gen SV's. It has a digital speedo together with an analogue rev counter just like you said

i have spare internals sitting here if you would like it for £20 posted. its all there minus the casing but its a very very easy job to change the casing. dont ask what mileage is on them as i haven't a clue.. lol
