i like the way you pack, nice and light.. perfect :-) |
Re: SV made it through the Apls
Ha yes the bag even includes running kit. It's hard to run after riding all day though.
I decided to wing it, check tyre pressures and strap on a rucksack. I wasn't camping (obviously) but booking.com app on smartphone is ideal for flexible accommodation according to your budget. Near Lake Garda I was paying €25 a night :) Did Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, Italy and back through France. Highlights were Romantic Road in Germany (took 2 days but could spend much longer) and Napoleonic way coming back through France. And Rombo Pass over the Alps obviously. Everyone else was on GSes. Everyone. |

Nice one!
Would it better in Talk and Issues? Then post more pictures please, those views are epic. Of course, if the bike has developed a fault as a result of the trip or is suffering from altitude sickness then crack on!! |
Re: SV made it through the Apls

Re: SV made it through the Apls
Heading to alps next week, wish I was only taking that amount of stuff though, I think my bike will need a HGV license the amount I've go to strap to it.

This is what I pack like when I choose the accommodation, 12 day's worth of stuff, even managed to carry a laptop for route planning. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...a6&oe=567E481C |
