Help needed regarding engine
 
Hi everyone, should this nut vibrate and spin around when the bike is revved?

nope it should not, its the idle plunger or wizards higimydoo thing.

So why is mine vibrating and turning? Bike seems fine, whats the crack

i'm a bit pizzzed so my head is a bit ermmm foggy but the plunger should go in and out with the STV (secondary throttle valve) action. under no circumstances remove or turn the screw on the top of the valve and only sdjust the plunger screw if you have the correct measurment device and you know what you are doing. if the bike is running correct then leave well alone.

Ok pal, thankyou. Its just that the bike is going in for an MOT next week and i wanted to make sure it passes.

mot.. does not iclude the immisssions so your fine.

Is that some kind of worm drive linked to the SVT? I'm pretty sure mine turns when the SVT moves.
