Headlight from new 2016 SV650 to SFV650 - Straight swap?

Hi guys, first post here, I'm the proud owner of a 2014 SFV 650, previously known as Gladius. I've seen that the new SV is pretty much the SFV with a round headlight and I was wondering if anyone here knew if the new headlight would fit in the SFV?

To me this is pretty much the only change it needs after having done the exhaust (Leo Vinci).

Cheers!

I don't imagine anyone will be able to say for certain until the new model is out in the wild which I don't think it is yet.

I thought it was out by now. I'm sure someone will soon find out anyway. The dealers must have gone through the training and I'm sure they'll expect people asking for a headlight conversion.

ermmmm. the new SV headlight is the pointy naked headlight with a different cowl.

so does the round headlight fit the glady.. ermm yes with the right mounting brackets which will be the ones for the naked pointy. or you might get lucky and find that the round headlight bolts straight onto the glady mounting bracket. only problem i can see with mounting it to the glady bracket is the stay/adjust bar but i would hazard a guess that the round one bolts straight in.

I'd certainly be up for one if it is a straight-forward swap. Indicators look a bit higher on the new SV - might need them as well if the Gladius's indicators don't fit with the round light. Guess we'll know more soon.....anyone know the release date for the new SV?
