Extended cables for a "Gladys"

I have just added barbacks to Wifeys Gladys and the cables are now too short.

Has anyone else done this mod and how have the gotten over the cables being too short.

I have heard that V-Strom cables are a bit longer and would fit.

Or get them made to order, V Strom will be longer, although maybe too long

Bandit ones might be another option.

Custom ones take out this guess work

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting cables made. I got quoted horrendous amounts from a bespoke cable supplier.

Venhill is the only one I know. I had very good results from them seven years ago, but then you could speak to the guy that made them. They have 'streamlined' the process since then. The best way to go is to send them your cables as a pattern with a plus value for length and 7-10 days later they despatch your cables.

When I did a naked conversion on my S I went to a bandit clutch cable which is pretty much perfect. The throttle cables were OK for me. The choke cable was the kicker as you have to make sure you get the N spec cable as it is about 10cm longer than the S and I had to get an OEM one.
Venhill sell cable kits you finish to your own length(not the choke cable)If you can wield a soldering iron you can do it yourself.
