K6 indicators
About a week ago I noticed one of the rear indicators on my K6 had fallen off - the wire was still attached (and it still flashed) but the metal-to-rubber joint had failed. I glued it together with some 2 pack epoxy, which worked fine and looked at sourcing a replacement.
Genuine parts were quite expensive (around £20 for a single good second hand luminaire) so I ordered a set of 4 LED units for only £5.49 and a new relay for £8 (both delivered). The bits turned up quickly and an hour with a soldering iron had them fitted - I think the result is quite smart for about £14 complete: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bf12f550ef.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...69de77a2a9.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Nice. Are they a decent brightness?

Re: K6 indicators
I bought the same ones on eBay for £4.19 for the set and put them on my curvy S. Definitely an improvement over the stock. Needed a flasher relay to control the rate.
A word of caution...these will fail just like your previous ones. The thread will eventually pull out of the rubber. Happened to 2 of mine just from general riding. Glue on the thread put them back in and so far so good. Can't really complain at that price though. Looks well |
Re: K6 indicators
Yes, they do seem very smart and efficient for the money. I may order a spare set just in case one or two fail (they are so cheap it would make sense).

Re: K6 indicators
The best colour for pointy S bikes, too :)

Re: K6 indicators
I’ve just ordered 2 spares for only £2.98 - at that price it is worth just having them in the bits box in case one fails.
