mitas tyres
has anyone tried mitas tyres?
just bought curvy with new mitas tyres fitted, are they any good? not getting much feedback, but still scrubbing in, thanks |
Re: mitas tyres
I'd not heard of them but a quick google reveals them to be part of Swedish company (Trelleborg). This US review says they're fine but with a disclaimer they didn't try them in the rain (they reviewed them in SoCal):
https://ultimatemotorcycling.com/202...ouring-rubber/ I don't think there are any "bad" tyres on the market and if you ask 10 riders for the best tyres you'll probably get 10 different opinions. Since you may be the first to use them (here), let us have your review when you've ridden on them for a while. |
Re: mitas tyres
They're 'OK'.
If you don't really have a preference on brand or will be commuting on it I'd see them out. If you're funny about tyres (like me) I'd swap them and see if you can get a few pence back selling them as part worns to a commuter. note..i've never successfully done that with bike tyres |
Re: mitas tyres

They do good off road tyres, but I've never heard anything about their road tyres.
