2016 seat recommendations

Hi all, not been on here for a while.
Just bought my wife a 2016 sv, which she really loves, apart from the seat.
Anyone got any upgrade recommendations ?

Oh, the seat ,you have noticed already ! Crap isn't it. They use the minimum of foam to keep the seat height low but at the expense of comfort. i had a local seat upholsterer Smartrrs take some foam out and replace it with a square of purpose made gel insert.
it has improved comfort and I don't notice the discomfort like I used to after just a short while riding.

The seat was designed by grand inquisitor Torquemada and he doesn't like criticism, be warned.

There are several options. A local upholsterer would probably be able to help and might be the least expensive option.

Core motorcycle seats (Lincoln) did mine in 2016 (I only lasted 300 miles on the original seat). In 2016 this cost £140 but I think the prices are higher now (much higher!), it was the first AL7 he'd done.

With hindsight I would have gone for the Bagster approach with a step, the idea being to stop the downward slide into the tank whilst adding more padding. This will raise the seat height though if that's an issue.

The expensive option would be a Corbin seat. Very expensive but excellent quality (I'm told) with many choices of fabric, stitching etc.

This seat is from Holeshot Performance (USA) and is a Corbin derivative:

Suzuki themselves make the "Tuck and Roll" seat but it does not offer any comfort improvements (again; I've read) merely looks better.
