Re replacement bike

I was reading puptons post "white van man killed my bike" and decided to steal and poll a question frome the Ride report.

If youre bike were written off tomorrow in a no faulter, what would you replace it with?

depending on insurance qoutes thundercat or a zx9r,i do like the sv it just doesnt do enough as an all rounder which is what i need

'04 GSX-R 600 would be my current choice.

Not another SV, as my brand new one is standing outside refusing to start.

Not a Ducati - just got rid of one. They're too unreliable - bloody italian electrics.

Not an 'american agricultural vehicle' as I have one of those outside too (untaxed at present). Reliable and more fun than you'd imagine, just not in a fast way, but 'been there, done that' now.

Would like to try a Triumph though.

SV1000S would be my ideal choice (not taking insurance into consideration)
