Chain Lube
http://www.hein-gericke.de/shop2001/...28000564-2.jpg
Excellent stuff does not flick off. Hein Gericke does it £10 for big tin  |
Scottoiler, it does exactly what it says on the tin
|
I use Kin-Good, can get it most places... Very good i've found
However as soon as chain and sprockets need replacing i'll be going for a scottoiler |
I like scotts but not oily ones !!!!!
|
I mainly use Motul because it tastes nice.
|
I use Wurth chain wax cos I get it for nowt :P
|
I'm rubbish; there's a scott-oiler fitted to my bike but I don't use it
To be fair I couldn't work out how to get the platics on either side of the seat off (where the unit is mounted) to fill it up, and it was pumping out way too much oil. However I've now got a Haynes manual that tells me how to get the plastics off, and I'm sure I can adjust the oiler itself so it doesn't completely cover the wheel, back brake and the edge of the tire (!!!) in oil again... |
YEP PROFI was recomended to me by a biker mate who has got years of knowledge, It does what it says on the can.
AS soon as I got me new bike I cleaned the chain put er on rear stand and simply spun the wheel (rear) and sprayed the chain with PROFI job done, simply repeat spray about once a week depending on mileage. keeps the **** end clean with no Monkeying around http://usera.imagecave.com/jeep2000/chimp2dw.gif |
Found out from my local HG store that they have discontinued the sale of Profi-lube...anyone know where else to get it?

You'll have to do a word search for profi as it isn't listed with their other lubricants, probably a glitch with the site. You can order it online. http://usera.imagecave.com/jeep2000/bikelisa04.jpghttp://usera.imagecave.com/jeep2000/chimp2dw.gif |
