Stupid Acorn!

On my way to work and an acorn falls out of the tree, (think it is a bit early for falling acorns, so me finks it was a pesky squirrel, die squirrel die! ) and hits me square in the chest. This stung a bit as I was doing about 70mph at the time, I did laugh about it, however...........It bounced off my chest and got stuck between my double bubble and that little shelf (I have a k2). When I stopped I tried to grab it, and it then made its way down into my faring and did not hit the ground! :(

The question is, do you think it will cause any damage (rattling around behind the lights) and should I now spend my time taking off the fairing in search of the little bugger?

Thats no way to talk about Jordan...

can't see any problem with it being there but its not much work to take the front fairing off....

Excellent

I had a slight accident last year involving a conker and a schoolboy (cue for smutty innuendo :D ).
I was riding along quite slowly about to turn a sharp bend, and my front wheel went over a conker that was in the road. It can't have been completely in the centre of the tyre as the conker shot out of its shell . . . and hit a schoolboy in the balls.
He hit the pavement like a sack of spuds, so I stopped to make sure he was OK. He was with a group of mates who all thought it was hilarious

Unfortunately some plonker with a mobile must have misinterpreted what was happening, and before I knew it, there were 2 police cars and an ambulance in attendance

I can see where his mates were coming from. Getting hit in the nuts is almost always funny when it happens to someone else.

When you start to see branches growing out of your fairing then you've got a problem!!!!

The conkers story is a classic.

I bet this poor lad did a good impression of that Panda in the chicken sauce advert - 'Oh, me conkers'. I suppose this conker is at least a 2'er now.
