refitting front seat

I was refitting my seat today and i noticed that the bar were the seat clips onto moves about,is this normal :?: Also has anyone replaced the two alan bolts that holds the seat at both sides.Mine are on there way out. :roll: :?

Mines the same but I know it has snapped from the subframe on the off side. 99 - 02 model.

Like Davy says one of the welds has broken, it's actually quite common, the quality of the weld, (and the steel), is poor.
