Thanks Guys, I commuted all the way there and because my first day of riding was so much fun in all the rain ALL of the way   I decided to commute back home again in the dry and daylight. All is well with bike apart from the make shift exhaust bracket didn't stay make shift, and there is a strong smell of coolant but no puddle :?: :?: :?:
I stopped on the hard shoulder where I crashed to investigate. I found remains of my bike so I know where the bike ended up. The thing that puzzles me is there is nowhere at all, throughout the length of the armco, that I could have got pinned in. :?: :?: :?: :?: The road has also been re-surfaced as someone has already mentioned. Gone are the dangerous "dips".
Oh and just for the record, where I crashed is where the first "dip" was. So I think I can safely assume that I hit that "dip", unsettling the bike and the front wheel washing away. Or even after inspection of the side stand by Rictus. He seems to think that it is likely that the side stand was down going round the bend.
I am now starting to think. Going round bend, banked quite low, hits "dip", side stand springs fail???, side stand hits ground??, front wheel no longer on tarmac???.
Like I said all along, on that particular day I was not going balls out. Fast yes, but not balls out.
Just a theory anyway. Anything to distract the blame from me
