European Headlight in the UK - Will iget MOT?
 

I just notuced that i bought "European Headlights" :-k - they point to the other side of the road...

Can I use them - will I get MOT with them :roll: ?

I think you have to use tape to redirect the beam or something...... sure someone who knows for sure can enlighten you

Does the Headlight come in 2 parts?

Headlight + Headlight Brackets?

It looks like it but i couldn't get it apart...

If it does get apart than i could use the brackets from the european headlight can't I ?

As on my original Headlight only the brackets are broken...

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

place I used said "have you got the legal can?" yes
"you do know that no plate is the wrong size" yes

"Here is your ticket, see you next year"

Wish I could get mine that easy... had to change everything over :roll:

Looking at the state of some of the cages down my way, i am convinced there is somewhere that does MOT's by post

When I was a kid (17) went to Oulton Park on an easter Monday. I had a car but no license. Mate had license but no car, So we went in mine with my brother in the back. Picked up a copper at Warrington and because the prat in the back kept looking round to check if the copper was still there I got pulled and given a producer. Mate got one for his license

When I got home got out my provisional, insurance cert and MOT. Damm thing ran out a week ago. Made a phone call and went to pick up the new MOT. because it was an easter weekend he had to date the MOT for good friday as he had issued MOTs for that date and he could therefore write mine in his records showing correct dates.

Plod was suspicious as the MOT was only 3 days old. But when told the facts we need to use my car and therefore specifically MOTed it that weekend was happy. Great got an MOT for the rest of the year Free of Charge. (Well for the cost of a phone call and a few beers) :)

I got pulled for small plate in finsbury park. Cops everywhere. got a vehicle defect ticket and producer. :(

Nowt said about the race can tho so fair do's
