My tale of woe

As this seem to be where SV owners list thier grievences at the hands of car drivers, here's mine.

One quiet evening at about 20:30 I was riding along minding my own business. A car coming the other way down a road about a mile long which is as straight as an arrow didn't happen to see my white bike with it's headlight on and it's pilot who was wearing a floresant jacket. Said car then proceeded to turn right into my path without indicating.

A few seconds later I was lying in the road looking at my right leg which was now pointing the wrong way, the car driver then commented that he hadn't see me too which I replied with my crash helmet being throw in his direction.

A night in traction and a 2 hour operation to insert a blot in my right femur later I now can't get out on my SV for 3 months and it's looking at me with those sorrowful eyes, I hate car drivers.

The police have said they can take his licence off him and he has to do a retest if I don't push it to go to court, which is fair enough as all he would get in court would be points because he probably 'needs' his licence to survive in life.

But he's knackard from all directions if he tries to deny it all in court, he admited liability infront of 2 witnesses who saw it all happen.

It's not all bad news though, I've got 3 months off work with sick pay and a big fat compo check sometime in the future. \:D/
