topping up oil
might seem like a bit of a dunce here.
but my oil level is half way between the top and bottom mark im gonna top it up to the top. just some questions - im guessing its as straight forward. 1 -get someone to hold the bike upright on level ground 2- unscrew the cap 3- pour it in. is there anything i need to worry about ? shal i do it when the engine is warm ? or cold ? how long should i leave it before i ride ? thanks in advance for your answers :) |
if the bikes on level ground then your oils ok,but if you do top up do it pref. when cold, yes you can ride straight away.

oooh good question
i had mine on the paddock stand and no oil showing in the window. have not got anyone except my daughter to help me hold the bike upright so will try that tomorrow. bought the oil but was told not to put too much in. fingers crossed it stops raining for 2 min tomorrow for me to attempt this  |
All the best for it stopping raining. Think theres more chance of winning the lottery myself like, but there you go.
|
well yeah it has been raining since saturday but then its only wednesday  and it only goes as far as your skin, so wear as little on the skin and its easier to dry off
