Which Tyres?

Hi - can I seek some advice on replacement tyres for my W reg SV650S. I have Bridgestones at the moment, do about 11000 miles p.a, mostly 40 mile each way commutes to work on A or B roads, with some weekend riding.

Look in the review section down the bottom.

Cheers Mark.

Being a bit of a plonker! I have not been able to find the section on tyres that Rictus referred to? However my question goes a little deeper. Just like BMW or Mercedes cars I get lost with the number prefixes for models! I am faced with the same dilemma with the Bridgestone Battlax range!

I have looked at their site but do not know if the tyres evolved naturally by numbering system or some other method was used! I know I am a prat but it is not easy to get that much info on tyres.

I believe that the Bridgestones are a good call but ask if anyone can suggest the most suitable to my riding style?

Generally only dry riding( come on I did not move to Spain to ride in crap weather guys!)

Most riding done on bendy roads with reasonable surfaces and looking to increase leanability and speed through bends. Don't need to go for all out race tyres as would want to get a few miles from a set! Presently still using the standard Dunlops.

I await your advices guys and gals.

From a personal point of view, and having ridden in Spain myself, if you want longivity and performance from your Bridgestone tyres I would go the 020 rear 010 front. But that's just my personal preference.

For my trip to Spain I got a Sportmax fitted for the trip home and it did just that. Got me home and was spent.    But oh how I enjoyed the trip home
