Top Front Fairing
 

I have a 2001 model Naked SV650, and I would like to put a top front fairing on it.

Are there any front fairings, available to buy off the shelf or will a fairing from any other model bike fit it ?

Anyone got any pics of a fitted fairing ?

the fairings come as standard on the S model (SVs)
but not sure if it will fit,
the s model is more upright where as the sport model is more leany forward kinda angle.

The equipment from the SVs should bolt straight on, but to be honest the amount of kit you will need to buy is going to set you back a fair amount.

I don't know how much, but the light alone will be an expense I would think. Check out ebay for the parts. I would imagine it is going to be around £300 for all the bits. Try after market bits then at least you will look different. On the main site there is a link to funky custon fairing for the SV, US based I think.

how many miles have you done mate? and what mods do you have.. as I was planning on loosing the fairing of my blue sv650s and leaving it naked, could just save time and swap bikes....
Though if yours is a different colour I would be happy sellin the parts for you to respay.. I'd just be interested in buying your clocks.. the headlight and stuff I'm planning on havin something a little different...

Do you mean just a wind screen or half fairing? Such as the S model?

If it is the latter this has been covered before a few times, try doing a search and see what you come up with.

My opinion is you'd be better off selling your naked and getting a faired version of the SV.

Ive just fitted a tinted screen (fits onto the headlight) onto my naked SV looks quite good -£25 from Heine Gericke - actually does make a difference - keeps a bit of wind off :)
