Rayven boots
Working on the principle that cheap boots are better than no boots I bought a pair of Rayven Exceed waterprrof boots 3000 miles ago cost £50 approx.
To-date thay have been dry but then again I am a fair weather biker however, 1) screws fall out of toe sliders, no big problem as they are a standard thread so able to replace with a cut down set screw 2) brittle zip tabs. Both zip tabs have snapped I have been able to replace them with a bit of welding rod through the zip pull. bigger and stonger than the original tabs so a definate improvement. 3) zip failing, the bottom of one of the zips is held together my a piece of pressed metal through the material. this has now ripped out You get what you pay for. Would I buy them again NO. I have not abused them but the definately appear to have a built in maximum life of 1 year |
