Happy - At last - (ish)
 

Hey all

Well as you can see from the thread below i have now got a s/s oval T3, second hand but in perfect nick!

Fitted it on saturday and i am so pleased, imediatly on start up it sounds gorgeous, deeper more throaty & purposful, rather than the shhh im a motorbike type noise that the stock gives,

I have been wanting one of these cans for months now and i finally have it, i took it out for a quick blas on saturday an couldnt really hear it at speed due to me using my old loud helmet as my roof is in for repair,
so i geuss under the roof it will sound better, i am still at the 33bhp restriction so no real noticable power increas, and i feel that compression is low!! (31k miles with no real s/h)
so i shall wait untill 22nd jan and de restrict, get a comp test, make sure that is all ok, de coke it, balance the carbs, uprate the brake lines, pds and springs , change the rubber and i shall be one v happy bunny!

it has been a long time since i smiled riding the sv, but the new exhaust has relit the passion i first had for the bike and i cant wait till after crimbo.

However it is now SORN and shall stay that way till mid jan, it will be tucked up warm and snug in my new shed and will be loved untill then, with the occasional start just to hear that gorgeous proper v twin note, which i hadnt heard for 2 years!!!
