Funny sqeuaking / chirping noise
 

Hiya

My bike has developed a funny chirp or squeak, seems to start at about 30 - 40mph and then continue until the sound of the can on my bike drowns it out, not sure what it is, seems to becoming from around the front end somewhere, if I pull the clutch in whilst riding along the noise still continues. But doesnt do it if the engine is running and the bike is on the side stand, I've checked my chain and the tension is correct and it is not in need of lube. I cant feel vibration or rubbing through either the front or back brake and it definately doesnt happen when I am riding slowly through traffic.

I am thinking that it might be the clutch ? or maybe a wheel bearing, not sure about the wheel bearing as the noise isnt the same as the noise I got in my car when the wheel bearing went in that

Anybody got any ideas ? I am going take it to the dealer that looks after my bike today, just wandered if anybody knew what it might be

In case anybody else gets this, tis indeed the speedo drive.. how do I know this

The speedo has stopped working and now the squeak as gone, dealer has checked my bike over and checked the front wheel bearing, and brakes etc and he says its the speedo drive to
