is this legal?
any ideas? :?
http://clearalternatives.com/Images/CTL-0055-1.gif thinking of getting a new rear light (as an alternative to the OE one) as part of a conversion on my bike. help much appreciated!! |
Ben, come on, you can't seriously think that's legal :?:
Cool yes, legal no. Cheers Mark. |
Probably not. But it's very cool :) Is there still a minimum seperation for indicators? Looks like they'd be a bit unclear while brake and indicator are on two...
|
worth a try... Thanks anyway guys - no numberplate would look cool too! :) in the light of this, anyone recommend any places (aside from eBay!) where i can get cheap OE spares? Yamaha want £160 for a new unit, which is, frankly, rubbish... is it worth buying from a US-based dealer? any recommendations? Cheers |
Is there an R6 equivalent of this site? Seems like they'd be better places to ask, they'll know the good places for Yam parts...
|
no, but a pity as it looks a damm sight more effective than some of the mini indicators on some bikes
|
Nick has something similar on his GSXR
ask him if hes been stopped yet :?: |
That's a cool idea. What if you use LEDs and have the outermost ones as yellow indicators and the innermost ones as red back/brake lights? I'm sure that it would be possible to somehow do it in a way that isn't going to get you pulled over and is clear to other road users.

Er, if you've left your indicators in place, why bother with those trick ones? :?
