De restricteing 2000 SVs
 

Well yes its finally that time!!

Ok so really its 2 months off, but the bike is tucked up for winter and i have no intention of riding it untill 22nd janurary when my licence matures!!

So here goes,
I have a suzuki carb restricting kit (not the F1 washers)

Now...... what im after is the needle shim or washer settings, as i took it back to the dealer and they were clue less!! further more turns out the broke one of the sliders putting in it!!
this is y i never touch em with a barge pole and now ony hastle then about thier c**k ups!!

So if any one has a carb needle diagram, (had one and lost it) or a phot wud be much appreciated.

Sold mine now but de restricted it just after I bought it. Your local dealer should have a copy of the fitting instructions for restricter / de restricter kit. I had one but gave it to the guy who bought the bike. I will give my local dealer a shout if you can't lay your hands on it. I know he has a copy as he helped me out.

From memory it just said take a note of the needle position when you take the restricted slides out.

Cheers Mate, would be very useful, i did pop in and see the guy in the workshop, hes a sandwhich and a lot more short of a picnic, he said, errr i think they should be on the top one!!

great, well i aint wasting my time building it and and then having to re build it, i have already suffered enough under thier incompetance.

if you could get hold of them im sure it wouold help, they haynes shows em but not in enough detail at the mo! or point me in the direction of the fische page, i think that shows it.
