Dynojet stage 1 and 3 kit contents
I just picked up a Stage 1/3 kit from DJ for the princely sum of £15 (well, it's missing one pair of jets but still, got all the other bits still in their wrappers, thanks UBG!) and since I've always wondered what was actually in it, I thought other people might be interested...
Instructions and suggested settings 2 x DJ stickers 2 x slide springs, which seem stiffer than the stock ones 2 x needles- don't know how these differ from stock yet 2 x needle springs, e-clips and washers- in case you lose any stock ones I assume. 1 x #54 slide drill- the right size to drill your slide holes, and tricky to find various mains- 134, 138, 140, 144, 180, 185 (the huge mothers are meant for stage 3 kits- no airbox, individual filters, raised tank) And a nice wee box. From everything I've read and absorbed, the jets enclosed will be no use for anyone with a good filter and system, which seems a bit off for a product that costs about £70 new... |
I didn't get half that stuff in my stage 1 kit.
No springs at all and I think 138 jets were largest. Which I fitted and with the K&N and can runs really sweet. I'll see what she does when I do the cams next year. |
Mmm, this kit recommends 144s for a race can and K&N... which would explain why my kit is missing the 144s :)

How much you want for the 140 mains?

The markII version so to speak is part no. E3171.002(stage 1&3) is what northwind has just listed the contents. Maybe the dealer you bought yours off still had the first version when you bought yours. Cheers Ben |
Bought my kit of somebody on here I think.
Nevermind runs well that's what matters. |
