Advice for new end can for SV650s k4

Any recommendations on end cans...my dealer deals with blue flame, who do cheapest at ssteel at £199 single port or 2 port at £220.

Is there anything cheaper that does good ducati-ish sound?

I see sv1000 is easy to change can, as it just has four bolts but sv650 looks harder as you need the piping too? any ideas?

appreciated.

nothing on the blue flame level but i just fitted my new viper race can, and for £67 i have to say i absolutly love it. in high revs its not GREAT, but its definitly alot better than before.

low to mid range revs sound just lovly, the right amount of loud i think.

see the exhaust reviews section also btw...

You don't need new header pipes, if you don't mind chopping through your existing pipe work.

Buying a full system is quite an expensive proposition.

Also different end cans can sound completely different. For example, I have an Akro full system on my K3, its got a nice deep tone, a friend of mine has a blueflame can on his K4, its quite a raspy harsh bark. Both nice, but quite different.

Alternatively you can buy the pipework on ebay:

and keep the stock can for MOTs or future resale.

i saw in the exhaust section way back that u had blue flame before? how was it, my dealer is pushing these but i sceptical. your road legal art - is the baffle removable (or does it sound great as is), do you have to cut the pipe etc (thinking to ask the dealer to fit it) and price approx? thanks mate

the existing pipe always has to be cut on a stock system for the 650.

I've just got a Scorpion - great can, baffle just unscrews & pops out. Lovely deep burbling noise
You do have to cut the pipe - hacksaw/angle grinder or get a dealer to do it
Have a word with Joe (Itching to Go) - he can probably sort you out

Got to agree with Mr Toad, the sound from a scorpion is just fantastic and the baffle's a doddle to fit & remove. For, erm, all those trackdays.

I've got a Remus Revolution Caron & I love it

Bit more expensive than others, bit top class kit normally is
