Oxford Sports Expander Tankbag

I recently purchased an Oxford Sports Expander Tankbag in platinum after trying out a number of different luggage cominations for my daily commute to work.

This is a fantastic piece of kit. It consists of a magentic map holder to which everything else attaches.

A zip out mid-section is included which also has a map holder and could be used on it own. You can fit a rigid plastic frame into it so it retains it's shape.

The main section is expandable and also has a map holder. It too comes with the rigid plastic frame and a has a waterproof cover. There are an additional three pockets one of which is detachable and could be used as a bum bag. It is also fitted with carrystraps and can be carried as a rucksuck. In addition there are bugees and carry handles included.

All in all the capacity and flexibility of this tankbag means it can take a decent amount of kit. It'll stick to the tank with the magnetic base easily at speed!

Highly recommended. Check out Hein Gericke for last year's stock which they're selling off right now.

They are good kit, had mine for about 6-7mths but ok mines the compact range, matching tank pad (find the tank back so convenient as a daysack and a tankpad) and panniers fairly small but big enough for a weekend away

I am looking at the expander range for the summer so i can get away a bit more

I found a little water repellant spray like nikwax or something, comes in handy for some showers instead of wrestling with the built in waterproof covers

i too have a piece of this kit.
i also like the fact that you can stick it on the back like a topbox too if you decide the windblast is too much half way through your trip :)
