side lights to indicators
 

hello i have seen some sv that have made there side lights indicators i know how to do this but i don’t know what will happen come MOT time or if the old bill will like it.

also dose any one know where to get blanks to fill the holes the inds left in the faring

I got the kit from Banitmania - It's the ROCA sidelight to indicator conversion kit :wink: however, the kit comes supplied with weedy 5 watt bulbs, I got the LED bulbs from here :thumbsup: I managed to flog the rest of the kit off on eBay (including the 5 watt bulbs instead of the LED bulbs :-$ :wink:) However 'scapaflyer' has sourced some 23 watt bulbs that would fit the bill perfectly - might be worth asking him :wink:

Numpity question Surely you don,t use the same loom that is for 5amp to power the 17/23/25 amp bulbs? 2 What is the min legal req for indicators on a bike[Ref books are in work and I cant think if its the same as a car] with regard to the MOT
Do like the idea of making the existing sidelights into indicators and my mini indicators into side lights Anybody done this?
