Yup, gold Renthal low road bars on mine. Brake hose is a bit tight, but otherwise OK. Grips won't go the end of the bars, so I have approx 1" gold bar showing either end. I haven't got bar end weight in either, but doesn't feel a problem.

Personal preference really. I've got a set of LSL low rise alloy bars going cheap if you're interested. Quality kit they are.

LSL bars.

Could be Mr.B.

What you looking for ??.

World peace and a non-stop supply of chocolate milk....... Failing that what you got?

Renthals are the bars to have (for some reason). Others I'm sure are just as good though.

If you do go for the Renthals it's either the Lows or Ultra Lows really. I prefer the Lows on mine as they're higher than the standard bars which suits me perfectly. One of the best and cheapest mods I've done.

Try this site out: http://www.suburban-machinery.com/sv650.htm They make some unique handle bars. I had the Type #1's a couple years back, & I really liked them. I've since sold 'em though....

Oh yeah, I sold 'em only b/c I wanted clip-ons & all. They were comfortable & looked pretty cool...different anyways.
