my personal best - loading the bike
For those that know me, I've broken my personal best when it comes to getting stuff on the bike, check out these piccies! ;-)
Yes, I did drive with all that kit, 25 of them to be precise and I got up to 70mph and peeps, no, I didn't drop the bike, it was the first time I got both feet flat on the ground ;-) S www.mashru.org/avatar/Image013.jpg www.mashru.org/avatar/Image018.jpg www.mashru.org/avatar/Image019.jpg www.mashru.org/avatar/Image021.jpg |

I think the question is ..........WHY :?:
Sarj, that is impressive. I'll see if i can find the piccies of my mates XJR 2 up with probably half as much again on board! Scary stuff. However, it was fun filtering behind him on the way to Wales
It'd be physically impossible for me to get on that!
You trying to put Father Christmas out of a job
Very impressive!
I managed about the same (maybe a little more! ) on my K3 (crap luggage fixings/smaller rear end, etc!) when I've been to bike races in the UK! I had no choice but to take loads, as I needed to take my orange overalls, multiple changes of clothes, steel toe-capped boots, tent, cooking apparatus........... The handling is a little more, erm... Interesting when loaded up though, isn't it!!? |
You've been watching Long Way Round, haven't you?
and i thought mine was loaded down on my xmas travels...... bout half of that
